Ties will be broken based on the following CARHA Rules:
1) most wins,
2) winner of round robin game between tied teams,
3) goals for minus goals against, (Note 1): difference between goals scored by a team and the goals scored against that team. (Note 2): for the purpose of applying this step, the greatest factor used will be +7 goals (example: if the actual score of the game is 10-0, a number factor no greater than plus 7 will be given to the winning team and a factor of minus 7 will be given to the losing team),
4) least goals against,
5) best performance against 1st place team in division of tied teams,
6) least penalized team
For overtime in semis go right to a shoot out 3 vs 3 then 1 vs 1 with no repeats until all team players have shot. Before the game each team submits possible shoot out roster of 3 players. Player A, B and C then if no winner after the 3, Player D , Play E etc
Week 5 (Finals)
After the semis the 2 winning teams will play for the Championship.
In case of tie in the final game only, the following will take place:
-
5mins of 5 on 5 overtime
-
If the tie isn't resolved then a shootout will take place (3 names will be submitted prior to the game) all other games will remain as a tie to keep time frames.
-
The remaining 4 teams are re-seeded after week 4. 3 plays 6 and 4 plays 5 the following week, that way 5 & 6 do not play each other 2 weeks in a row.
